Peggy was hired as administrative secretary at the WRRI in February of 2001 and retired from the university in December 2010. Peggy is still working on a temporary/part-time basis managing the institute's Website. She also works on designing publications and brochures, and works on special projects as assigned.

Peggy has an Associates degree in general studies and is working on a degree in Individualized Studies with an emphasis in Creative Media Technology, English, and creative writing.

As a member of NMSU's Feral Cat Management program, Peggy works to help stabilize the feral cat population on campus by feeding and trapping them for neutering and vaccinating before returning them to campus where they live out their lives.

Peggy is an amateur photographer and periodically takes photos for the institute's publications and its Website.
