Cathy Ortega-Klett, Reports Coordinator Phone: 505 646-1195	Catherine T. Ortega Klett Coordinator coklett@wrri.nmsu.edu Cathy has worked at the WRRI since 1987 and has primary responsibility for overseeing the information transfer program as well as water research program. This includes publishing research results, producing the institute's newsletter, and coordinating workshops, conferences, and symposia. She also prepares required state and federal reports and assists in grant and contract administration. In 1979, Cathy received a bachelor's degree in Sociology, sum cum laude , from the State University of New York at Albany. She earned a master's of public administration degree from New Mexico State University in 1986 with an emphasis in econometrics and statistics. She is a native New Mexican, having grown up in Santa Fe, is married to a research scientist, and has three children.
