New Mexico Technical Water Symposium 2002
The 2002 Water Research Symposium was held August 13, 2002 at the Macey Center in Socorro, New Mexico. The Symposium was coordinated by the New Mexico Water Resources Research Institute and sponsored by Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory, University of New Mexico, New Mexico Tech, New Mexico State University, Office of the State Engineer, U.S. Geological Survey, John Shomaker and Associates, American Water Resources Association - New Mexico Section, and WaterBank.
The symposium provided a forum for researchers, engineers, and students in the region to present their current water resources and water infrastructure related research and development activities and projects. About 175 people attend the one-day workshop where about 50 presentations were given and over 50 posters were presented.
