The directory is a compilation of agencies and university departments that deal with water insome manner. We have tried to make this update more user-friendly than past directories by indexing extensively and separating the state and federal agencies.
Each agency listed in the directory contains a brief description of what it does in relation to water issues. University researchers and agency personnel are indexed alphabetically and sorted by their areas of expertise as well. They selected their areas of expertise from a keyword list of over 200 topics.
